REMEMBER the Fallen. . . HONOR those who Serve. . . TEACH our children the value of Freedom.

Welcome to the Mountain Home National Cemetery 's Wreaths Across America Page.  Please read completely before sponsoring.

On December 19 at 09:00 am, 2020, Wreaths Across America will be at Mountain Home National Cemetery to Remember and Honor our veterans through the laying of Remembrance wreaths on the graves of our country's fallen heroes and the act of saying the name of each and every veteran aloud.

Due to the current pandemic, an abbreviated private ceremony to honor the various armed services will be conducted by members of the American Legion and Disabled American Veterans. The public wreath placement to remember deceased Veterans will be Saturday, beginning at 9:00AM. Volunteers will be on hand to provide directions. Please observe proper distancing, and wear your mask.

Wreaths Across America and Mountain Home National Cemetery are unable to accept grave-specific orders online.  However, some of the associated sponsor groups are willing to accept your request. To sponsor a wreath to remember a specific Veteran at Mountain Home, you must contact one of the following individuals:

Jeanette Scalf (423) 430-6548; Pete Headley (423) 926-2233;              Scott Foster (423) 741-9934

If you do make a grave-specific request, please be sure to provide us with all applicable details, such as section and site number, if you know them. Our volunteers will do their very best to honor your wishes.

Questions about the Saturday wreath placement? Contact                  David Carter (423) 349-4622, or Allen Jackson (423) 753-4165.
