Welcome to the Elmwood Cemetery's Wreaths Across America Page.
On December 13, 2025 at 12:00 pm (Wreath Placement Immediately Following Ceremony), Wreaths Across America will be at Elmwood Cemetery to Remember and Honor our veterans through the laying of Remembrance wreaths on the graves of our country's fallen heroes and the act of saying the name of each and every veteran aloud.
Please help our location lay wreaths at as many graves as possible by clicking the red "Sponsor" button. Or, if you would like to volunteer to participate in the wreath laying ceremony, please click the “Volunteer” button next to the cemetery name below, and don't forget to click the "Invite" button to invite your friends and family to join you.

As the back-to-school season begins, Wreaths Across America, in collaboration with the Military Child Education Coalition (MCEC), is spotlighting the importance of adopting proactive, research-based strategies to raise awareness of the unique attendance-related challenges faced by highly mobile students.

Elmwood Cemetery is located at 640 North Ridge Rd., Lorain, Ohio. North side of North Ridge Road; about 1/2 mile east of Cooper Foster Park Rd. (State Route 254) and 1/2 mile west of Broadway Avenue.

- Volunteers from all ages and backgrounds are welcome.
- Volunteers will have the opportunity to assist with organization, placing wreaths, cleaning up, etc.
- The Elmwood location coordinator will provide direction on Wreath Day.

On December 13, 2025 (See location pages for ceremony and wreath placement details), OH0222P - Nathan Perry Chapter; Daughters of the American Revolution will be helping Elmwood Cemetery, Calvary Cemetery, Resthaven Memory Gardens, Fields Cemetery, North Ridgeville Cemetery, and Avon Center Cemetery to Remember and Honor our veterans by laying Remembrance wreaths on the graves of our country's fallen heroes and the saying the name of each and every veteran aloud. Please help us honor and remember as many fallen heroes as possible by sponsoring remembrance wreaths, volunteering on Wreaths Day, or inviting your family and friends to attend with you.
