Welcome to the Elmwood Cemetery's Wreaths Across America Page. 

On December 13, 2025 at 12:00 pm (Wreath Placement Immediately Following Ceremony), Wreaths Across America will be at Elmwood Cemetery to Remember and Honor our veterans through the laying of Remembrance wreaths on the graves of our country's fallen heroes and the act of saying the name of each and every veteran aloud.

Please help our location lay wreaths at as many graves as possible by clicking the red "Sponsor" button. Or, if you would like to volunteer to participate in the wreath laying ceremony, please click the “Volunteer” button next to the cemetery name below, and don't forget to click the "Invite" button to invite your friends and family to join you.

Directions to Cemetery

Elmwood Cemetery is located at 640 North Ridge Rd., Lorain, Ohio.  North side of North Ridge Road; about 1/2 mile east of Cooper Foster Park Rd. (State Route 254) and 1/2 mile west of Broadway Avenue.  


Parking Instructions

Park on the streets within the cemetery.  Please avoid parking on the grass.  

Ceremony and Volunteer Information

Thank you for volunteering to support Wreaths Across America at Elmwood Cemetery. Updates on volunteer opportunities will be posted, here. 

  • Volunteers from all ages and backgrounds are welcome.  
  • Volunteers will have the opportunity to assist with organization, placing wreaths, cleaning up, etc. 
  • The Elmwood location coordinator will provide direction on Wreath Day.
