REMEMBER the Fallen. . . HONOR those who Serve. . . TEACH our children the value of Freedom.

Welcome to the Laramie Woman's Club Wreaths Across America Page.  We are a service organization and a member of the General Federation of Women's clubs.  We are proud to not only Honor our veterans but use the raised money to support our community.  Our club supports the Laramie Plains Museum, Interfaith, the Ivinson Hospital and many other Not-for-Profit organizations in our community.  We are the second oldest Woman's Club in Wyoming and are proud of our heritage of inclusion in meeting the needs of our community.

On December 17th at 11:00 am, the Laramie Woman's Club will be helping Greenhill Cemetery to Remember and Honor our veterans by laying Remembrance wreaths on the graves of our country's fallen heroes.

Please help us honor and remember as many fallen heroes as possible by sponsoring remembrance wreaths, volunteering on Wreaths Day, or inviting your family and friends to attend with you.

Thank you so much for supporting the The Laramie Woman's Club and Wreaths Across America!

Directions to Cemetery

Navigation systems do an adequate job finding the cemetery.   The ceremony will take place in the GAR section on the northwest side of the Greenhill cemetery.

Parking Instructions

There is plenty of parking at this cemetery, so feel free to park in any available spot.  We would suggest that you park behind the WYO Hall on the South West corner of 15th and Lewis and then walk across the street into the cemetery.

Once inside, proceed to the road between rows I and J and head north (left) to the GAR statue area.

If that distance is too far, please park on the roads south of the Main Avenue or east of row Q.  Please be respectful and do not drive off the cemetery roads to bypass other vehicles--you might run over a grave or hit something under the snow!

Ceremony and Volunteer Information

We are happy that you are willing to help with our Wreath Across America ceremony at Greenhill Cemetery. Please do not forget to register to volunteer! That way you will get all updates about the cemetery itself.

Here are some things to remember about the ceremony:

  • Everyone of all ages and backgrounds is welcome.
  • Please help ensure that all participants get the opportunity to place a wreath.
  • Please follow the location coordinators instructions on where to place wreaths, as well as "how" they should be placed.
  • We especially appreciate volunteers willing to help clean-up. Please check in with the location coordinator if you are interested in helping with the clean-up.

The most important thing to remember is to have a wonderful experience participating in the ceremony and thank you so much for help Wreaths achieve our mission to remember, honor and teach.
