C of the 280th Engineer Combat Battalion during WWII. He helped enable the Allied advances of 1945 by repairing roads, clearing mines, and building bridges in the Ardennes, the Rhineland, and Central Europe. He is pictured with his wife of 50+ years, Katheryn Swintak.
