Welcome to the OR0068P - United States Naval Sea Cadet Corps - Roseburg Division's Wreaths Across America Page. 

On December 14, 2024 at 1:00 pm, OR0068P - United States Naval Sea Cadet Corps - Roseburg Division will be helping Roseburg National Cemetery- Oregon to Remember and Honor our veterans by laying Remembrance wreaths on the graves of our country's fallen heroes.

Please help us honor and remember 7,000 fallen heroes by volunteering on Wreaths Day and inviting your family and friends to attend with you.

Directions to Cemetery

The Wreath Placing Ceremony will be held at the flags monument on the grounds of the Roseburg VA. Please navigate to the VA Medical Center via Harvard Avenue. Please allow ample time for parking and a short walk to the ceremony site. Traffic will be routed to available parking. Shuttles will be available for pickup and drop off. Details and map will be published in November.

Parking Instructions

Watch this page for details about parking and transportation to Roseburg National Cemetery for the ceremony. We anticipate a high number of participants. Therefore, we are working with County and City officials as well as the VA to accommodate attendees. Accessible parking will be available at the Roseburg VA. Shuttles will be available from different schools in the area.

Ceremony and Volunteer Information

We are THRILLED to announce each of the veterans laid to rest in Roseburg National Cemetery will have a wreath. We are grateful you're willing to help. Please do not forget to register to volunteer! 

Here are some things to remember about the ceremony:

  • This small gesture of gratitude for the freedoms Americans enjoy at the wreath laying ceremony honors our fallen heroes.
  • Say their names aloud and thank them for their service.
  • Everyone of all ages and backgrounds is welcome.
  • Instructions on where and how to place wreaths will be given at ceremony conclusion.
  • We especially appreciate volunteers willing to help clean-up. Please check in with the location coordinator if you are interested in helping with the clean-up. Wreath pick-up day is January 18, 2025.

Welcome to ORRNCR - Roseburg National Cemetery- Oregon. Join the legacy on December 14, 2024 (Wreath Placement Immediately Following Ceremony).  For the first time ever, each veteran will receive a wreath. A historic 7,000 veteran's wreaths will be placed at the wreath laying ceremony. Bring your children & grandchildren to teach them the value of freedom. Volunteer to help at the ceremony ~ register as an individual, family, or group.
