There will be volunteers directing cars to where they need to park.  Please follow their instruction and do not park in the grass by the side of the road. Thank You.

Ceremony and Volunteer Information

We are happy that you are willing to help with our Wreath Across America ceremony at Middle Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery. Please do not forget to register to volunteer! That way you will get all updates about the cemetery itself.

Here are some things to remember about the ceremony:

December 16th, the cemetery gates open at 9am.  We will have a designated parking area on the grass (weather permitting) or volunteers may park along the sections of the cemetery.

Family and friends who have purchased a grave specific wreath may formally place their wreath(s) between 9-10am before the ceremony. The wreaths will be pre-placed at specific headstones in plastic bags the day before. ***Only designated wreaths will be placed before the ceremony.***

  • Everyone of all ages and backgrounds is welcome.
  • Please help ensure that all participants get the opportunity to place a wreath.
  • Please follow the location coordinators instructions on where to place wreaths, as well as "how" they should be placed.
  • We especially appreciate volunteers willing to help clean-up. Please check in with the location coordinator if you are interested in helping with the clean-up in January.

The most important thing to remember is to have a wonderful experience participating in the event and thank you so much for helping achieve our mission to Remember, Honor and Teach.
