REMEMBER the Fallen. . . HONOR those who Serve. . . TEACH our children the value of Freedom.

Welcome to the Support Committee for Calverton National Cemetery's Wreaths Across America Page.

On Saturday, December 13, 2025, the Support Committee will be coordinating Calverton National Cemetery Veteran groups to Remember and Honor our veterans by laying Remembrance wreaths on the graves of our country's fallen heroes. Volunteers MUST register with the Support Committee so we know that you are coming to help.

Please help us honor and remember as many fallen heroes as possible by sponsoring remembrance wreaths. You will be able to do a General Sponsor for one or several wreaths.

To sponsor a wreath at Calverton, click on the “Sponsor Wreath” button on the HOME Page. It will take you to the official Wreaths Across America ordering information for our location. Remember when you sponsor, or donate, a wreath, it will be part of the general distribution amount that will be placed on 3 to 4 sections of the Cemetery as determined by the Calverton Support Committee. Those sections are rotated year to year so that every section “gets a turn”. In 2024, sections 19, 28, 42 and 55 were decorated. Different sections will be selected for 2025. The general supply of sponsored wreaths is then divided by the number of volunteers that sign up with us. In this manner, everyone volunteering to place a wreath will have an opportunity to do so. If you sponsor a large supply of wreath, please don’t expect to take that number at the wreath pick-up station. That will not leave enough for everyone to participate. You will pick up the same number of wreaths as everyone else.

A General Sponsorship of a wreath is NOT for personal use. If you want to do that, then you must order a “Grave Specific” wreath on the WAA website. That wreath will have your name, or your loved one’s name, associated with it when you pick it up at the “Grave Specific Wreath Pick-up” Station. Please be careful when you are ordering. We will not be able to give you a wreath at that station unless you specifically ordered it that way.

When you order a "Grave Specific" wreath for a loved one's gravesite, you must indicate whether you will pick it up from us on WAA Day or, have one of our volunteers place it for you, if you are out of the area. The Grave Specific Order DEADLINE is Tuesday, December 2, 2025 to guarantee that your wreath is delivered for WAA Day, December 13th.

Thank you so much for supporting the Support Committee for Calverton National Cemetery and Wreaths Across America!

Our Grandfather came from Sicily at 15, fought for our country, raised 5 girls, seen his grandchildren and great grandchildren, worked night and day to provide for his family , was loved and respected by everyone who crossed paths with him. He’s a cancer survivor, had multiple major heart surgeries and when millions of people died from Covid.. he survived… I don’t think there is anything he hasn’t done. I think that’s what makes his life so successful. He’s seen joy, he’s seen sadness…he’s seen life. Popi you are missed more than words can say. We are so proud to be your family and grateful to have had you in our lives. Your daughters, grandchildren and great grandchildren will hold you in their hearts forever. We love you!

Directions to Cemetery

Calverton National Cemetery is located at 210 Princeton Blvd., Calverton, NY 11933. The Main Entrance is located on Middle Country Road (Route 25).  Volunteers and Families that are picking up “Grave Specific” orders should enter here and proceed to Section 8. Signs will be posted along the way.

For ALL OTHER REGISTERED Volunteers Groups, the Wreath Pick-up will be done at the Sections designated by the Support Committee. These sections, inside the Cemetery, change from year to year in order to give each section a chance to be decorated. Assigned starting times for wreaths to be picked up will begin at 9:00 a.m. and continue throughout the morning, ending with our brief ceremony at the Main Flagpole at 12 Noon.

Parking Instructions

The speed limit inside the Cemetery is 20 MPH; please watch your speed! Vehicles should park on the closest side to the section that is being decorated with wreaths. Do not park on both sides of the roadway; it is way too narrow for two-way traffic. Only Calverton Drive can accommodate two-way traffic AND parking on both sides of the roadway. Calverton National Cemetery is the largest national cemetery in the country, comprising over 1045 acres. It is not advisable that you walk from section to section or from a section to the Assembly Area.

If you are attending the Ceremony at 12 noon, please park in the field adjacent to the Assembly Area. Do NOT park, stand or stop in the Assembly Area circle. Thank you for your support !
