REMEMBER the Fallen. . . HONOR those who Serve. . . TEACH our children the value of Freedom.

Welcome to the Lake Oconee Elks Lodge #2849 (GA0345P)'s Wreaths Across America Page.

Lake Oconee Elks Lodge #2849 (GA0345P) is a proud sponsor of Wreaths Across America.  Our moto, "Elks care Elks Share," partners so well with Wreaths Across Americas' "REMEMBER" the fallen, HONOR those who serve... TEACH our children the value of freedom."  These are exactly the goals of the Elks.

On December 13 at 12pm, 2024, Lake Oconee Elks Lodge #2849 (GA0345P) will be helping four local locations to Remember and Honor our veterans by laying Remembrance wreaths on the graves of our country's fallen heroes.  These locations are the Georgia Veterans Memorial Cemetery Milledgeville, the Greensboro City Cemetery, the Lake Oconee Elk's Lodge Memorial Wall, and the Madison City Cemeteries, Madison , GA.   This is a total of approximately 1000 gravesites.

We can only accomplish our goal to donate and lay wreaths at all 1000 gravesites with your help.  You can donate and support the Elk's Lodge by clicking the red "Sponsor" button, then choose the location of your preference and if you want to volunteer click the "Volunteer" button.  Don't forget to click the "Invite" button to invite your friends and family to join you.  Thank you in advance for supporting the Lake Oconee Elks Lodge #2849 (GA0345P) and Wreaths Across America.

Thank you all, see you on December 13th to celebrate, honor and remember all our veterans.
