Welcome to the Western Carolina State Veterans Cemetery's Wreaths Across America Page.
On December 19, 2026 at 12:00 pm (Wreath Placement 10:15AM Grave Specific 11:00am placement of all wreaths), Wreaths Across America will be at Western Carolina State Veterans Cemetery to Remember and Honor our veterans through the laying of Remembrance wreaths on the graves of our country's fallen heroes and the act of saying the name of each and every veteran aloud.
Please help our location lay wreaths at as many graves as possible by clicking the red "Sponsor" button. Or, if you would like to volunteer to participate in the wreath laying ceremony, please click the “Volunteer” button next to the cemetery name below, and don't forget to click the "Invite" button to invite your friends and family to join you.

Directions to Cemetery
Navigation systems do an adequate job finding the cemetery. When you arrive, please follow the people and signs to the site of the ceremony itself.
Parking Instructions
The upper parking lot will be designated for Handicapped Parking. Other parking should be on one side of the drive, on the shoulder. Please do not block the driveway.Ceremony and Volunteer Information
We are happy that you are willing to help with our Wreath Across America ceremony at Western Carolina State Veterans Cemetery, Black Mountain.
Here are some things you will need to know:
- Volunteers should arrive at the cemetery by 10:00 AM
- Briefing will be at 10:10 AM
- Wreath laying will begin at 10:15 AM for grave specific wreaths followed by all other wreaths at 11:00am
- Ceremony will be at Noon
