Happy Fall!

If you follow my updates, you'll remember that my last update started with "Happy Spring".  Now, in the blink of an eye, we are into fall which mean that WAA 2024 is now underway!   Our fundraising is off to a great start although I never feel comfortable until we reach our goal.  At that point I can aim all of my focus on the event day along with that wonderful delivery escort that Goshen is now anticipating each year.  Our driver, Ervin, has been in contact and is excited to return.  If you plan to purchase wreaths or make a donation, please be sure to use the Nam Knight's link if using a credit card or make your check payable to the Nam Knight's and mail it to or drop it off at the cemetery, 111 Craigville rd Goshen NY 10924.  By doing it this way, we receive three wreaths for every two that are purchased.  The great Warwick Meistersingers will be caroling again prior to the ceremony.  I look forward to seeing you all again.

Dave

Directions to Cemetery

Navigation systems do an adequate job finding the cemetery. When you arrive, please follow the directions of the Emergency Service personnel for parking.

PARKING ON CEMETERY GROUNDS WILL BE EXTREMELY LIMITED &                                    RESTRICTED.

Follow signs to 255 Main street (Orange County Government center) Goshen for Shuttle parking or arrive early and park at Goshen Town Park directly across from Cemetery.

We all now realize how busy and crazy this area gets during our event.  Parking close is nice, but getting on a warm bus and utilizing our shuttle service is definitely the way to go.  Once the ball field lots are full, which happens quickly, all traffic will be diverted to the government center.  Parking on cemetery ground will be strictly enforced for handicap parking only.

Parking Instructions

Parking on cemetery grounds will be extremely limited and restricted to OCVC employees, ceremony participants and those that require handicap parking.  Parking will be available at the Town of Goshen Park located directly across the street from the cemetery.  Parking will also be available at the Orange County Government Center located at 255 Main street in the Village of Goshen.  Several shuttle buses will be available to transport you to/from your vehicles.

OCSD, TGPD, GFD Fire Police & GOVAC will be on hand to keep all vehicles and pedestrian traffic safe.

               ARRIVE EARLY! Large crowd expected.
