Ceremony and Volunteer Information

There will be a short information session at 11:30 a.m., prior to the start of the ceremony. We will form the Honor Circle at 11:35 a.m. where you are encouraged to call out the name of service personnel to Remember and Honor them.

The Leesburg Civil Air Patrol Composite Squadron Honor Guard will present the colors at 12:00 p.m.

Once the Honor Guard has retired the colors and Taps is played, you will be dismissed to collect your wreath and place it at a veteran's headstone. After you place the wreath, you'll say their name out loud and honor them with a moment of silence.

We ask that you please wear a mask at all times and practice social distancing during your participation at the Union Cemetery Wreaths Across America event. The safety and well-being of all that attend and participate is our top priority.
