I wish you could have met your great-grandson -- we named him after the best grandpa a kid could ever have. I hope he grows up to be as kind, thoughtful, and loving as you were with me. Thank you for all of the wonderful memories. I love you always.

To the best grandpa I ever could have wanted, and was beyond grateful to have. I wish you were still here to meet your great-grandson next year -- we're naming him after you. Thank you for all the memories, with love always.

To the best grandpa a kid could ever have. Thanks for all the memories - especially of drawing eyes on the fake bananas in Grandma's fruit bowl to make them look like dolphins and not telling her! Love you lots, always.

To the best, most loving Grandpa, who was always drawing eyes on the plastic bananas in Grandma's fruit basket to make them look like dolphins, and always cooked stacks of yummy pancakes for breakfast. You were one of the few bright spots in my childhood and I still miss you so much.
