REMEMBER the Fallen. . . HONOR those who Serve. . . TEACH our children the value of Freedom.
Welcome to the Friends of Mt. Hope Cemetery Veterans Page. There are currently 1200 Veterans resting at Mt. Hope and we hope to honor each by placing a beautiful live wreath as we say his or her name aloud.
A metal shepherd's hook has been provided for every veteran by Charlie 22 Outdoors Veterans Ministry. By placing the wreath on the shepherd's hook, each veteran will be more visibly honored.
Our annual Wreaths Across America Day at Mt. Hope is Saturday, December 13 at 11:00. As always, our goal is to gratefully Remember, Honor, and Teach! We don't know them all--but we owe them all!
Again, thank you so much for supporting our Mt. Hope Veterans and Wreaths Across America! If you have any questions, feel free to email WAAmthope@gmail.com. Thank you!

In Memory Of for Henry Sutton Hulett, United States Military, Born 10/02/24, Passed On 03/03/10, Honored by Mt Hope Cemetery
Dad was eighteen years old when he sailed out of San Diego Harbor toward the South Pacific during WWII. He recalled tears streaming down his face, and the faces of other young sailors, as they stood at attention along the ship's deck, watching the USA fade into the distance. They didn't know if they would see its shores again. Thankfully, he returned. Others were not as fortunate.
