Wreaths Across America Day is a time to remember and honor those who served and to honor the fallen, the POW and MIA. CPT Renaud met my family and I when we arrived in Germany in 1995. I worked with her for a short time and she helped me and my family settle in Germany. I remember my family and I, spent the day at a Castle in Germany with CPT Jacquelyne Renaud and her children. The next day she was gone in a tragic accident on their way to church. The 2 children survived the crash with a drunk driver. CPT Renaud, our friend for a few short months, welcomed us to Germany. She was a veteran of Persian gulf war and died on a Sunday. 06/18/1995. I salute her and will always remember her.

Jefferson Barracks has limited onsite, off street parking.  Please carpool as much as possible and consider parking in the remote lots off Sheridan Road, or outside the back cemetery gate by the school.  Please follow the directions of the volunteers who will be controlling traffic.  Use the main entrance or the back entrances; the employee entrance off Sheridan is reserved to move group volunteers who are preregistered with access passes into the group pickup area.

Parking Instructions

Due to the anticipated large crowds we suggest carpooling as much as possible and being prepared to arrive early for the 11 a.m. ceremony.

Ceremony and Volunteer Information

We are happy that you are willing to help with our Wreath Across America ceremony at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery. Please do not forget to register to volunteer! That way you will get all updates about the cemetery itself.

Here are some things to remember about the ceremony:

  • Everyone of all ages and backgrounds is welcome.
  • Please help ensure that all participants get the opportunity to place a wreath by taking one or two wreaths at a time, placing them, pausing to Say Their Name with honor & respect.  This is not a race, it's a mission to honor.
  • Please follow the location coordinators instructions on where to place wreaths in the predetermined sections we will be covering, as well as "how" they should be placed.
  • We especially appreciate volunteers willing to help clean-up. Please check in with the location coordinator if you are interested in helping with the clean-up.

The most important thing to remember is to have a wonderful experience participating in the ceremony and thank you so much for help Wreaths achieve our mission to remember, honor and teach.
