Welcome to the Richfield Veterans Memorial Park's Wreaths Across America Page.

On December 14, 2024 at 12:00 pm (Wreath Placement Immediately Following Ceremony), Wreaths Across America will be at Richfield Veterans Memorial Park to Remember and Honor our veterans through the laying of Remembrance wreaths on the graves of our country's fallen heroes and the act of saying the name of each and every veteran aloud.

Please help our location lay wreaths at as many graves as possible by clicking the red "Sponsor" button. Or, if you would like to volunteer to participate in the wreath laying ceremony, please click the “Volunteer” button next to the cemetery name below, and don't forget to click the "Invite" button to invite your friends and family to join you.

Mark 8:34-38

And calling the crowd to him with his disciples, he said to them, “If anyone would come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross and follow me.   For whoever would save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for my sake and the gospel's will save it.  For what does it profit a man to gain the whole world and forfeit his soul? For what can a man give in return for his soul?  For whoever is ashamed of me and of my words in this adulterous and sinful generation, of him will the Son of Man also be ashamed when he comes in the glory of his Father with the holy angels.”

Were our forefathers ashamed of Christ or did they take up their cross to follow him? On November 11, 1620 the First statue of government was signed on this soil that is now the United States of America. For the sake of time I will not read it all but I would encourage you look it up the Mayflower Compact. It starts with “In the name of God, Amen” throughout the statue you will see phrases like: by the grace of God, for the Glory of God, our King, Defender of Faith, the Advancement of the Christian Faith, Honor of King and Country. It is summed up by stating how they would basically run this new nation - by solemnly and mutually, promising all due submission and obedience to God, and living in his presents and with one another.

Our country was started on his word and built on and for the advancement of his Kingdom. The men and women we are honoring today across this great nation served this country and defended these principles, providing the freedom to advance his Kingdom.

Thank you so much for supporting Richfield Veterans Memorial Park and Wreaths Across America!
