Ceremony and Volunteer Information
We are glad that you are interested in National Wreaths Across America Day 2024 at Historic Dunedin Municipal Cemetery on Saturday, December 14th @ 11 am. Please don't forget to register yourself and/or your group so that we have an idea how many will be attending
Here are some things to remember about the ceremony:
- Everyone is welcome...and we do mean EVERYONE!!!
- Turn right as you enter the cemetery and park on the right edge where available as this 149 year old Victorian cemetery does not have a parking lot. No bathroom either, but the city provides a port a potty for this event,
- Please follow the instructions on where/how to place the wreaths. We have shepherds hooks for the wreaths at Dunedin to be placed in back of the marker with the red ribbon straightened and on top.
- Please check in with the location coordinator if you are interested in helping with the clean-up on Wreaths Out Day in mid January-we do it the same day as Arlington.
Don't forget to sponsor wreaths today, so all veterans receive one! Please share us with your friends and family!!
