On December 13, 2025 at 10 am, Wreaths Across America will be at 900 Three & Twenty Road to Remember and Honor our 44 veterans through the laying of Remembrance wreaths on the graves of our country's fallen heroes and the act of saying the name of each and every veteran aloud.

MISSION BBQ Customers Donate $352,930 to Sponsor Veterans’ Wreaths for 2025

142 participating locations will receive veterans’ wreaths because of the generous donations in the communities where MISSION BBQ customers support the mission.

Wreaths Across America Honors “Flying Tiger Line Flight 739” with a Special Remembrance Ceremony

In honor of my brother Sgt. James Edward Turner who served in the US Marine Corps during Desert Storm as an F-18 mechanic. Later in life, he joined the SC National Guard and was an Apachi helicopter mechanic. During that time, he did a tour in Iraq.

Navigation systems do an adequate job finding the cemetery. When you arrive, please follow the people and signs to the site of the ceremony itself.

Parking Instructions

There is plenty of parking at this cemetery, This cemetery is in the woods. If you need a shorter walk or have a handicap placard, drive up to the top of the driveway, otherwise, please park along the road

Ceremony and Volunteer Information

We are happy that you are willing to help with our Wreath Across America ceremony at Pickens Chapel Cemetery. Please do not forget to register to volunteer! That way you will get all updates about the cemetery itself.

Here are some things to remember about the ceremony:

  • Everyone of all ages and backgrounds is welcome.
  • Please help ensure that all participants get the opportunity to place a wreath.
  • Please follow the location coordinators instructions on where to place wreaths, as well as "how" they should be placed.
  • We especially appreciate volunteers willing to help clean-up. Please check in with the location coordinator if you are interested in helping with the clean-up.

The most important thing to remember is to have a wonderful experience participating in the ceremony and thank you so much for help Wreaths achieve our mission to remember, honor and teach.
