Welcome to the Iowa Veterans Home and Cemetery's Wreaths Across America Page.
On December 13, 2025 at 11:00 am, Wreaths Across America will be at Iowa Veterans Home and Cemetery to Remember and Honor our veterans through the laying of Remembrance wreaths on the graves of our country's fallen heroes and the act of saying the name of each and every veteran aloud.
Please help our location lay wreaths at as many graves as possible by clicking the red "Sponsor" button. Wreaths Across America Presents Annual REMEMBER Award to Robert “Bob” Freeman of North Carolina
On Monday, June 23, national nonprofit Wreaths Across America (WAA) recognized Robert “Bob” Freeman of Gastonia, North Carolina, as the ninth recipient of the organization’s REMEMBER Award. This award is given annually to an individual or group who Remembers the fallen and their sacrifice in a way that goes above and beyond.

We are happy that you are willing to help with our Wreath Across America ceremony at Iowa Veterans Home and Cemetery. However, due to current COVID restrictions, we will not be having a ceremony or laying of the wreaths this year.
