Ceremony and Volunteer Information

We are happy that you are willing to help with our Wreath Across America activities on December 14, 2024 at Hudson, NH Area Cemeteries. We have seven cemeteries participating in Hudson. Our Wreath Day Ceremony will take place at 11 AM at the historic Hills House on Derry Road. After the ceremony, registered volunteers will have plenty of time to drive to one of our nearby cemeteries where we'll be laying wreaths. If you'd like to be a registered volunteer to place wreaths at one of these cemeteries, please send an email to: jvmadden23w@comcast.net.  That way you will get all updates about the cemetery itself. Be advised that we currently have more volunteers than we have Veterans' graves to honor, but we would like to increase participation in our Wreath Day Ceremony. Please join us!

Here are some things to remember about the ceremony:

  • Everyone of all ages and backgrounds is welcome.
  • The ceremony lasts approximately one half hour and is held outside. If you need a chair, please bring a folding chair.
  • If you have contacted us to volunteer to place a wreath, please check in with the Location Coordinator at your cemetery when you get there.
  • Please be sure that all volunteers get to place at least one wreath by only taking one wreath at a time and following the Location Leader's instructions.

The most important thing to remember is to have a wonderful experience participating in the ceremony and thank you so much for helping Wreaths Across America Hudson, NH Cemeteries achieve our mission to remember, honor and teach.
