OHSHCR - Silent Home Cemetery
REMEMBER the Fallen. . . HONOR those who Serve. . . TEACH our children the value of Freedom. On December 14, 2024, the Rickenbacker ANGB Civil Air Patrol (OH-121) in conjunction with the Truro Township, City of Reynoldsburg Streets Dept. and many supporters are honored to be doing a Wreaths Across America Memorial Ceremony and wreath laying at Silent Home Cemetery. This will be followed by wreath laying for the Reynoldsburg Historical Cemetery Project starting at Friendship Primitive Baptist, Seceder Cemetery and Hill Road Cemetery. We welcome all who wish to join us for any of these events and thank you for your remembrance of our fallen heroes. The Rickenbacker ANGB Composite Squadron is a newly chaptered unit for the Civil Air Patrol, combining two historical squadrons. The Civil Air Patrol is a volunteer auxiliary of the U.S. Air Force, with a focus on three missions: Aerospace Education, Cadet programs and emergency services. For more information, please visit: www.gocivilairpatrol.com Silent Home Cemetery is an active cemetery and is the final resting place of over 225 of our Nation’s Veterans from every branch of service and almost every conflict foreign and domestic. Silent Home Cemetery is owned and operated by Truro Township. Families from Reynoldsburg and the surrounding area have had loved ones placed at Silent Home for over 150 years. Their mausoleum has been in service since 1917. 2023 also brought many restoration projects as well. The Reynoldsburg Historical Cemetery Project consists of three historical cemeteries. Seceder Cemetery, Hill Road Methodist Cemetery & Friendship Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery. These cemeteries, located in Reynoldsburg, OH are the final resting place for veterans from the American Revolutionary War, War of 1812, Civil War and other conflicts fought on U.S. and foreign soils.
ARLING - Arlington National Cemetery
Welcome to the Wreaths Across America location page for Arlington National Cemetery. As one of the largest veteran cemeteries in the United States, the goal of placing a wreath on every marker is lofty. Our volunteers are committed to Remembering and Honoring our nation’s veterans through the laying of wreaths on the graves of our country’s fallen heroes and the act of saying the name of each veteran aloud. Please help Wreaths Across America reach our goal by sponsoring a veteran's wreath and register to join us on December 13, 2025 at 12:00 pm (Wreath Placement 8:00 AM) as we place the veterans' wreaths.
