Welcome to the Barrancas National Cemetery 's Wreaths Across America Page. 

We are committed to ensuring the safety of our community and are not holding a Wreaths Across America ceremony as usual at our location this year, however we will be placing all sponsored wreaths.  

UPDATE: As of 12/11/20 The wreath laying at Barrancas will be taking place but with extended dates and with restrictions. 

PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING: Wreath Placement will happen from  Wednesday December 16th- Sunday December 20th. Volunteers must have a DOD issued ID card. DOD ID card holders can sponsor Non DOD personnel but they have to be in the same vehicle and will be counted as a volunteer.

The placement will be done in shifts 9:00 am to 11:30 am and 1:00 pm to 3:30 pm. Volunteers are need for Thursday and Friday.

 If you are a mourner you can pick up your wreath at the corner of Gulf Beach Hwy and Navy Blvd (the old KFC Taco bell area)

ALSO do understand that if the base goes into condition Delta because of Covid-19, Wreath Placement will be canceled. Please listen to the local media and it will also be posted on social media.

SSgt Forrest B Sibley, CCT USAF KIA 8/26/15 Afghanistan - Gone at 31...way too young! A loving son, brother and friend to all that knew him. He inspired everyone he met and his memory is celebrated by all. He is deeply missed and waging God's war now in Valhalla! Love you always Forrest!!

Navigation systems do an adequate job finding the cemetery. When you arrive, please follow the people and signs to the site of the ceremony itself.

Parking Instructions

There is plenty of parking at this cemetery, so feel free to park in any available spot.

Ceremony and Volunteer Information

We are happy that you are willing to help with our Wreath Across America ceremony at Barrancas National Cemetery . Please do not forget to register to volunteer! That way you will get all updates about the cemetery itself.

Here are some things to remember about the ceremony:

  • Everyone of all ages and backgrounds is welcome with volunteers sized in limitations and must be approved in advanced.

  • Registrations is required online at https://www.barrancaswreaths.com/volunteer.html. 

  • Please follow the location coordinators instructions on where to place wreaths, as well as "how" they should be placed.

  • We especially appreciate volunteers willing to help clean-up. Please check in with the location coordinator if you are interested in helping with the clean-up.

The most important thing to remember is to have a wonderful experience participating in the ceremony and thank you so much for help Wreaths achieve our mission to remember, honor and teach.

Our Pensacola fundraising group is proud to support Barrancas National Cemetery and to help honor and remember as many veterans as possible. Please use our stand alone site at WWW.BarrancasWreaths.Com to order wreaths for grave specific placement or for pickup.  This will allow us send you pickup instructions for wreaths you plan to place yourself and to send reminders next year.  Also, by early December, our website (WWW.BarrancasWreaths.Com) will have maps, parking information, security requirements to come aboard NAS Pensacola and timetables for volunteers.
