On December 13, 2025 at 09:00 am (Wreath Placement Immediately Following Ceremony) the Willits FFA and Willits 4-H Group will assist the American Legion 174 Remember and Honor our veterans through the laying of Remembrance wreaths on the graves of our country's fallen heroes and the act of saying the name of each and every veteran aloud. The Ceremony will be at the Willits Cemetery on Hwy 20 but wreaths will be placed at all 3 cemeteries in our district.
Please help our location lay wreaths at as many graves as possible by clicking the red "Sponsor" button. Or, if you would like to volunteer to participate in the wreath laying ceremony, please click the “Volunteer” button next to the cemetery name below, and don't forget to click the "Invite" button to invite your friends and family to join you.

We are happy that you are willing to help with our Willits Wreath Across America ceremony at District of the Redwoods Cemetery aka Willits Cemetery . Please do not forget to register to volunteer! That way you will get all updates about the cemetery itself.
Here are some things to remember about the ceremony:
- Everyone of all ages and backgrounds is welcome.
- Please help ensure that all participants get the opportunity to place a wreath.
- Please follow the location coordinators instructions on where to place wreaths, as well as "how" they should be placed.
- We especially appreciate volunteers willing to help clean-up. Please check in with the location coordinator if you are interested in helping with the clean-up.
The most important thing to remember is to have a wonderful experience participating in the ceremony and thank you so much for help Wreaths achieve our mission to remember, honor and teach.

CA0199 - Willits 4-H Wreaths Across America
Welcome to the Willits Wreaths Across America Page! Every December the Willits 4-H and Willits FFA help the American Legion Post 174 put on our local Wreath Laying Ceremony at the Willits Cemetery in remembrance of all fallen Veterans. The ceremony coordinates with over 1200 other cemeteries across the nation at the exact same time. This year’s ceremony will be held on Saturday December 13, 2025 at 09:00 am. Our goal is to get 504 wreaths sponsored so that we can cover every one of our local Veteran’s graves. This year I know we can reach our goal! The Willits Wreaths Across America group participates in the 3 for 2 fundraising option. That means that 100% of the funds go strictly towards wreaths. A person can purchase 1 wreath for $17 or 3 wreaths for $30. So, if anyone sponsors more than 1 wreath, the cost is only $10 each. However, there one important factor in receiving this deal. You MUST have the correct Sponsorship Group ID on all sponsorship forms as well as the correct Location ID! These important details ensure the discounted price and that wreaths arrive at the correct cemetery.
