Service and sacrifice. These words are lived each day by members of the US military and their families. For nearly two and a half centuries, these men and women have put their lives on the line to protect the freedoms Americans enjoy each day. They deserve our respect and remembrance.
Every year, thousands of volunteers with the non-profit organization Wreaths Across America set out to accomplish just that - remember the fallen, honor their service, and teach the value of freedom to the next generation. This year, the Sea Cadets America Division is lending support to their efforts.
Wreaths Across America supports year-long programs of thanks and remembrance for veterans and their families. Through learning tools, interactive media projects, and opportunities for youth participation, it also teaches younger generations about the value of freedom and the importance of honoring those who sacrificed their lives for it.
Each December, Wreaths Across America’s work culminates in an annual wreath-laying ceremony at more than 3500 locations across the country, at sea, and abroad. On December 14, 2024 (See location pages for ceremony and wreath placement details), AMERICA Division will be helping Richmond National Cemetery to Remember and Honor our veterans by laying Remembrance wreaths on the graves of our country's fallen heroes.
Please join us in helping to ensure that every veteran is honored and remembered in 2024. And that the next generation will understand the gravity and importance of their sacrifice. Your tax-deductible gift will memorialize the life of a veteran with a gravesite wreath, an ancient representation of unity and eternal life
Thank you so much for supporting AMERICA Division and Wreaths Across America!
