Welcome to the TX0559 - Friends of Veterans's Wreaths Across America Page. 

On December 13, 2025 at 12:00 pm, TX0559 - Friends of Veterans will be helping Dallas - Fort Worth National Cemetery to Remember and Honor our veterans by laying Remembrance wreaths on the graves of our country's fallen heroes.

Please help us honor and remember as many fallen heroes as possible by sponsoring remembrance wreaths, volunteering on Wreaths Day, or inviting your family and friends to attend with you.

Directions to Cemetery

Navigation systems do an adequate job finding the cemetery. Police and local officials will be handling traffic control. Please be courteous and safe above all. 

Parking Instructions

  • Parking is limited at the DFW National Cemetery and only allowed on the right side of the road to allow traffic flow.  One-way traffic flow will be observed in the cemetery at all times.
  • We respectfully ask that you park outside in designated areas and allow the aging and handicapped to park inside the cemetery. 
  • We will have golf cart shuttles from the front gate to sections for those unable to walk long distances. 
  • Buses and passenger vans are allowed and encouraged! For specific instructions please email the location coordinator,  Misty D Weaver, at waa.dfw.tx@gmail.com
  • RV's are not allowed inside the cemetery for this event. We encourage you to park off-site and rideshare in. 

Ceremony and Volunteer Information

We are happy that you are willing to help with our Wreath Across America ceremony at the Dallas - Fort Worth National Cemetery. 

Here are some things to remember about the ceremony:

  • Everyone is welcome!
  • Arrive by 9AM. Parking is extremely limited inside the cemetery and you will likely be required to park outside and walk in. Carpool and Rideshare is recommended. Shuttle golf carts are available for the aging and disabled.
  • The ceremony will begin at 11:00AM.  After the ceremony, you will have 20 minutes to walk to your wreath laying section. We will lay wreaths at 12pm. 
  • You may lay wreaths in any section of the cemetery.  Please follow the Section Leader's instructions on "how" they should be placed.
  • Please take some empty boxes from your section.  Empty boxes can be placed in the dumpster by the administration building.   We especially appreciate volunteers willing to help clean-up. 
  • Wreath retirement will be held on January 11, 2025 at 8:00AM.
  • Please make sure to sign up to volunteer on the main page so you will be added to our mailing list.
