Welcome to the Ft. Moore Cemetery Wreaths Across America Page. 

On {{December 14, 2024 (Wreath Placement Immediately Following Ceremony) at 12:00 p.m.}}, Wreaths Across America will be at the Ft. Moore GA, Cemetery to Remember and Honor our veterans through the laying of Remembrance wreaths on the graves of our country's fallen heroes and the act of saying the name of each and every veteran aloud.

Please help our location lay wreaths at as many graves as possible by clicking the red "Sponsor" button. Or, if you would like to volunteer to participate in the wreath laying ceremony, please click the “Volunteer” button next to the cemetery name below, and don't forget to click the "Invite" button to invite your friends and family to join you.

The association’s effort will honor and remember our nation’s veterans who were laid to rest at Arlington National Cemetery while providing resources for its TCA Scholarship Fund.

Directions to Cemetery

First, this event is OPEN to the public.  It is best to enter Ft. Moore via the Victory Drive (US-27/US-280) and Legacy Blvd. Entrance, basically right past the National Infantry Museum.  After passing through the guard station, turn left onto Custer Road. Parking will be on the right just past the cemetery. 

Parking Instructions

We will have volunteers helping and directing cars to the correct locations to park and there will be handicap parking available as well.  Please adhere to the volunteers parking instructions.

Ceremony and Volunteer Information

We are happy that you are willing to help with our Wreaths Across America ceremony at Ft. Benning Cemetery.  Here are some things to remember about the ceremony:

  • Everyone of all ages and backgrounds is welcome.
  • Please help ensure that all participants get the opportunity to place a wreath.
  • Please follow the location coordinators instructions on where to place wreaths, as well as "how" they should be placed.
  • We especially appreciate volunteers willing to help clean-up. Please check in with the location coordinator if you are interested in helping with the clean-up.

The most important thing to remember is to have a wonderful experience participating in the ceremony and thank you so much for helping Wreaths Across America achieve our mission to Remember, Honor and Teach!

Operation Deploy Your Dress is honored to support Wreaths Across America to honor our Veterans during the holiday season. We are specifically asking for wreaths for the Veteran cemeteries on or near the posts where ODYD is located: Ft. Bliss, TX; Ft. Eustis, VA; JBLM, WA; Ft. Benning, GA; Ft. Stewart, GA; Ft. Irwin, CA; Ft. Carson, Co; Ft Hood, TX; Ft. Drum, NY; Ft Rucker, AL; Ft Bragg, NC and Arlington Cemetery.
