In Honor Of for Roy Gardner, Army, SSGT, Honored by Georgia Veterans Memorial Cemetery - Milledgeville

Roy Gardner, SSGT, Army
This is to honor a loving husband who never made it home, a daddy of the cutest little boy & most adorable little girl he'd barely even known, was never a grandfather...oh no, not he. Our nation's HERO he was meant to be! His sacrifice was just one of many who also gave so selflessly. So the next time an inkling of thought passes through your head of how awful & oppressive it to be in America, this awesome country we are so blessed to live in & you want to protest, or write a snarky remark on social media, or even openly disagree with our government officials & in many cases try to recall them by making your voice & reasons heard & known by the people in your area. That is why America is called the land of the Free & the home of the Brave, because many Brave men & women served & still do (& often fought & sacrificed their life) so we can have the freedom(s) to do & say what we want, within the law. So to every Brave Veteran, past & present, especially Roy, Daddy, Tom, & both of my Uncle Bobby's...thank you for your selfless service & sacrifice to our beautiful country! May God always keep watch over you & God bless America!!!
