Welcome to the Wreaths Across America Connecticut State Veterans Cemetery Middletown Page. 

On Saturday, December 19, 2020 at 12:00 PM, Wreaths Across America will be at the State Veterans Cemetery to Honor our veterans through the laying of Remembrance wreaths on the graves of our country's fallen heroes and the act of saying the name of each and every veteran aloud.

Please help our location lay wreaths at as many of the 12,500 graves as possible by clicking the red "Sponsor" button. Directions to Cemetery

Parking entrance located at Eastern Drive CVH entrance. Overflow Parking to be directed by Middletown Police Department.


Cemetery parking is strictly limited to event staging vehicles, event staff(with access permits), Dignitaries and emergency vehicles. 


Shuttles, Including handicap shuttles provided by Dattco and Easterseals Capital Region and Central Connecticut, will transport volunteers to and from the cemetery from 8:00AM, suspending at 11:50AM, and resuming at 12:30PM and continuing operations until no longer needed.


8AM (Staging Volunteers Only). Eastern Avenue CVH entrance, (Staging) Parking and Shuttles commence operation.

10:00AM - Wreath Placement Volunteers arrive Eastern Avenue CVH entrance. Parking begins.

11:15AM Wreath placement volunteers should arrive at Eastern Drive, CVH entrance no later than 11:15 AM.

11:50AM PARKING ENTRANCE CLOSED

Middletown Police Department will direct traffic to main parking lots and to the overflow lot.

The cemetery will be closed to public traffic until approximately 1:00PM

An Event Staff Cemetery Accept Pass will be required for all entering motor vehicle traffic until 1:00PM on Saturday, December 19, 2020.

We are happy that you are willing to help with our Wreath Across America ceremony at the State Veterans Cemetery in Middletown. Please do not forget to register to volunteer! That way you will get all updates about the cemetery itself.

The most important thing to remember is to respect the sacred grounds, while  having a wonderful experience participating in the ceremony and thank you so much for help Wreaths achieve our mission to remember, honor and teach.
