In memory of John Jakovac and the rest of LRRP team 3a, all lost on 30 May 1967.The team was from the 3rd Brigade, 25th Infantry Division LRRP, was led byJohn Andrew Jakovac and includedSP/4 Carl David Flower, CPL Charles Edward Rogerson, PFC Brian Kent McGar, and PFC Joseph Edward Fitzgerald. Flower and Rogerson's bodies were recovered on 31 May 1967. The remains of Jakovac, McGar, and Fitzgerald were not recovered untilFebruary 7, 1994 and Jakovac's remains were identified on February 6, 1997.

My Dad, William H. Estes served in WWII in Europe under General Patton. He never spoke much of his time in the Army so I'm pretty sure that it was like so many others, a very difficult time. I miss him greatly!
