In Honor Of for Marion Lee Becking Jr, United States Military, Honored by Missouri's National Veterans Memorial
Forever in my Heart. This picture is of my Mom (Jeane), my Daddy Marion, and myself (Channe as he nicknamed me)!!! This was the last picture taken of us as he was killed in a Mid Air Collision over Vienna Austria a few months later on March 17, 1944. I was raised and at 82 still believe that My Daddy gave his life so Our Great County could be free. And Thanks to all who Served and gave the Ultimate. I am also proud to say that two of my Grandsons are now serving Our Country!!! Daddy Marion is buried in a Common Grave in Missouri's National Veterans Memorial in Perryville.
