In Memory Of for Malcolm A Hughes, United States Military, Honored by Dallas - Fort Worth National Cemetery
Grandpa, I wish words could adequately express how grateful I am to be your granddaughter. Your love and care, your gentleness and humility, your passion and steadiness, your friendliness and your depth…and so much more. You loved when it wasn’t easy. You gave grace while also pushing me to be my best. You helped me feel grounded in a way few others do. This world is better for having had you in it the 87 years you were with us, and I hope to be - if even just a little - like you when I grow up! <3

I will never forget the final parting gift you gave me that December day just weeks before you met Jesus face-to-face. You poured into me faithfully for years, and your love will always be part of who I am. Grateful is the understatement of the century.
